Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE), a leadership development organization for Teach for America corps members and alumni, reached out to Gillian to create content for its new website, which went live in 2015. Gillian wrote and edited blogs, staff bios and landing page copy for the LEE site, and developed content for an internal, members-only site as well. The heart of LEE is its members, who are part of a movement of leaders dedicated to educational equity in the United States. The organization was keen to showcase through storytelling the work of some of its members around the country and highlight how LEE supports them. This piece about Zeke Cohen, a LEE member and founder of The Intersection in Baltimore, is one of several member profiles Gillian reported and wrote for the organization.
